If you’re not getting the results you want, you’re probably wrestling with chaos.
We’ve all been there. Discipline, structure and routine fall apart, leaving us to do whatever with our time instead of what matters.
You only succeed through consistent results. You can only have consistency if you tame chaos.
Since you’re the type of person you’ll read something like this, you probably already know that. You probably already have – or at least want – a good routine.
But is it too good…?
Order versus Chaos – that isn’t a decisive battle in a fight to the death. It’s a dance. Too much Chaos is like building a house on shifting sands. The moment you place a brick down, it slides into some unhelpful alignment.
Too much Order is like living under a Zombie King. It’s the ultimate in stagnation, where not even death can shake up the system. Under an undead monarch, nothing new happens. It can’t.
How do you know you’re suffering under your own yoke?
How do you know you’ve embraced too much order and not enough Chaos?
There’s a lot of nuance here, obviously. What constitutes a good balance can change from person to person, from moment to moment. Still, here are some clues that you’ve bogged yourself down.
You’re working on tasks, not towards a goal.
You follow agendas, not intuition.
There’s no spark, creativity or spontaneity in what you do.
You feel trapped – maybe even smothered – by the things that used to inspire you and bring you joy.
None of that will get you very far. Want to live a more exceptional life? Want to better serve your people and be better rewarded for it? This won’t get you there.
Learning to balance Order and Chaos – among other things – is a nice side effect of my coaching program. There’s a part of you that understands nuance well. It can calculate and intuit consequences, long-term and short-term, of your beliefs.
This part of you adapts, adjusts and finds brilliant balances between unhealthy extremes.
When you know how to listen to it, that is.
You’ll know exactly how, and plenty more besides, by the end of a four-week coaching program with me. If that interests you, you can sign up here:
