Skipping over conscious sentience

Sentience – being self-aware enough to put yourself in the shoes of others – is a skill.

Everyone is familiar with it. You can’t have a conversation with someone without seeing things as they see them

But there’s a difference between dabbling in a skill and mastering it.

Most folks are consciously incompetent when it comes to understanding others. You can tell by how they’re constantly confused, misinterpreting other people – usually in a poor light.

When you read Your Story Isn’t About You (my free guide for email subscribers), then you see symptoms of this sloppy thinking everywhere. By consciously reflecting on what it teaches, you can learn to spot these symptoms in your own life.

From there, you can practice greater sentience, slowly honing your charisma, empathy, patience and creativity over time.

Or you can skip over that step, because the Sentience Seminar installs the key principles directly into your mind.

You can go straight to unconscious competence with sentience, where seeing things from new perspectives is an easy habit for you.

Of course, the best approach is to use both resources. Either way, reading, rereading and applying Your Story Isn’t About You is an excellent idea.

But the Sentience Seminar gets you there fast.

If it involves other people, then greater sentience will only help you.

And everything in your life involves other people. Everything that matters, at least.
