The quest for the Soul Citadel can give you answers. If you seek it, it can even provide incredible wisdom. But when I talk about that, I sometimes get that as a reply.

The short answer?

Oh, you sweet summer child – you have much to learn about yourself.

The longer, less patronising answer?

Brains are weird.

You might be stuck on a problem, seeing no way out of it for days, weeks, even months. It can seem insurmountable.

Then someone asks what you’d say to them if they came to you with this problem.

Boom, the answer snaps into your mind.

That’s not even a rare or unusual experience. The answer was there, it was obvious, but you just couldn’t access it.

It’s not like your mind came with an instruction manual.

So when I say the Soul Citadel contains ancient wisdom, with mighty elders and learned scholars waiting to share with you what you need to know, you get it.

It’s not always as simple as closing your eyes and asking yourself – although sometimes it is.

That’s what the quest is for. The harder you work to find wisdom, the more you’ll appreciate it.
