Let’s say you have a big dream.
You might want to fight homelessness, buy an island or find an amazing woman to be your wife.
(Scales are relative. For some folks, that last one is the easiest. For others, it’s the hardest.)
There are two classic mistakes you can make here.
The first is too much optimism. “Oh, I can buy an island! Sure, I only have four figures in my bank account but I can just get a lone! Put everything on hold! My ocean paradise awaits!”
As for the second, it’s too much pessimism. “Fighting homelessness…? I’m just one person. There’s no way I could help anyone – even someone who just needs a few bucks or a good meal. Oh well, back to the soulless corporate grind for me…”
I’m exaggerating, obviously – but it’s no laughing matter. These mistakes rob the world of a lot of amazing things.
And it robs you of a more satisfying life.
How different would it be if you could dream more realistically? If you could aim for lofty heights and then choose a practical path leading towards it?
Imagine not being discouraged by the scale of your ambitions.
Imagine not being delusional about what you can achieve.
That’s why creative thinking is so awesome. Done right, it can cultivate visions of a future so brilliant you can barely even imagine it – and then show you the next steps.
One of the three prongs of the Psident System orbits this idea. It trains you to dream bigger than ever before, then filter your ideas through realism and scepticism.
What survives is a brilliant path towards a brilliant future.
Will it be a perfect plan, leading you unfalteringly over the coming years and decades?
No. Of course not.
But you can always repeat this approach when challenges rear their heads…
That is, assuming you attend the Psident System seminar and apply what you learn.
