How many opportunities did you miss this week?

Your mindset rules your fate.

I’m not the first to say that. Earl Nightingale – author, speaker and deep thinker – pointed out decades ago that he wasn’t the first person to say that.

It’s one of the few things that philosophers across time and cultures agree on. Ancient China, the Bible, Stoicism and Shamanism all agree that the quality of your thoughts influences the quality of your life.

That’s not the only factor. Only someone profoundly neurotic would say that positive thinking alone will solve every problem.

But it’s still essential.

So… how many opportunities did you miss this last week?

It doesn’t matter what you’re going after. If you’re breathing, then there are chances to achieve your goals everywhere.

If you’re not seeing them, then it’s because – on some level – you choose not to.

That’s a scary thought. It means the platinum opportunity could reveal itself with a flourish and you’d miss it.

It’s also a beautiful thought. No matter who you are or what your circumstances are, you can always do better. It doesn’t take a fortune or elite connections. Those help, but they’re not essential.

Fix your mindset, learn to spot opportunities, then worry about your resources.

Ho hum, right? So far, I haven’t said much that’s new.

Fair enough. Let’s go somewhere novel, then.

It’s easy to talk about changing your mindset. How do you do it, though? Set ambitious goals? Use mantras or affirmations? Eat right?

Those could sort it out for you.

But the potent play here is to go in for coaching. Finding the right person to guide you can make all the difference.

A few weeks of coaching can stick with you for decades.

I won’t sell you on me specifically. You can know my style through my writing. If you think we might be a good fit, then great. If not, then I hope you find someone who is.

Either way, you win.
