Antipater or Anti-pater?

Antipater – the name of my business – has historic roots. I chose that name because one of Alexander the Great’s generals had this name. He was the one that kept Macedonia running while his king was off invading Persia.

In the Greek, it means like the father.

Which only adds to the wholesome masculine vibe I’m bringing. Fathers carry a lot of wisdom. Being like them is wise.

But if you take it to the Latin…?

Well, you know what the anti prefix means.

But against the father also works as a definition. Becoming a man involves being like your father and rising against him. You shouldn’t blindly follow him, nor should you mindlessly rebel.

It’s about taking what he gives you and using it as a foundation to create yourself.

Of course, father isn’t just the man who wooed your mother. It’s a vibe. Any father figure fits the pattern here. With every coach, mentor, older brother and boss, you both embrace their teachings and transcend them.

What will you do with Mane Meditation?

Will you follow the format and explore your inner mind, cultivating profound masculine virtue?

Or will you transcend what I share with you, weaving it into something of your own?

Either way, you’ll only grow stronger for it.

But that first involves registering for Mane Meditation, then showing up, then giving me your attention for 45 minutes at a time.

Simple enough stuff.

If only the rest of a man’s life were this simple.
