I recently joined a Facebarf group.
One of the members feels the need to get political.
(That’s fair enough – the group is somewhat political in nature.)
Over the string of a couple of days, every second meme was one of his. And they came in two flavours:
One, “politics is a tool used by elites to divide their subjects against each other”.
Two, “Trump voters are literally braindead, and shouldn’t be allowed to vote or breed”.
To hold either opinion would put you in good (or at least numerous) company, but to believe both?
I’m trying to decide whether the more charitable explanation is he’s a willing agent of evil elites or he’s a badly coded bot.
Either way, he’d benefit a lot from reading Your Story Isn’t About You.
It actually teaches you how to transcend politics, not just roleplay as someone who has.
