Solve problems (or fix yourself) (or get over it)

“How to I succeed in -?”

Let me stop you right there. It doesn’t matter how you finish that sentence.

Business?

Relationships?

Protecting your health?

Protecting your wealth?

Martial arts?

Investing?

Parenting?

Politics?

Sure, the details matter. But the foundations of all of those come down to the same thing.

To grok the philosophy of your discipline, turn to ancient wisdom. Crack open the Bible. Also see what Marcus Aurelius and Seneca have to say about your situation.

There’s a lot of overlap between stoicism and (Biblical, not new age churchy) Christianity. That’ll tell you how to succeed – or, at least, cope with failure in the meantime.

As for how to get results?

Being able to shift your mindset, install new beliefs and control your impulses all come in handy.

I know plenty of great ways to do that, from hypnosis to NLP to a few other interesting ways of helping you rewrite yourself.

I could go into more details about the fascinating psychology of influence – how you can use it, how to protect yourself against it and, yes, even how I use it to make you stronger. And me sales.

(And, one day, I just might.)

But for now, you can simply enjoy the benefits of my experience here.

I use plenty of my arts in Your Story Isn’t About You, from the title to the last page. I have to – it’s an idea that, once you hear it, you can’t get it out of your head. It’s simple, pervasive and useful – so you understand it, see it everywhere and want to learn more about it.

Yeah, it’s quite the interesting manual – if you find people as interesting as I do.

And even if you don’t, you might just learn how interesting they can be when you read, reread and apply it:
