Wisdom doesn’t have to be original to be useful. You might never have heard these before.
Even if you have, you might have forgotten all about them.
Let’s go.
- Stop making excuses. Plenty of folks who are dumber, poorer and busier than you have succeeded.
- Before starting a project, pretend the project already failed and ask yourself how. Then pretend it succeeded and ask yourself how.
- Optimists fare better. This isn’t because optimism is smart – it’s because optimists show up with a smile. Underrated.
- Pray. Turn your problems over to God.
- Eat better, drink more water, move more and get enough rest.
- You can think of ten simple things to do differently that are all obvious improvements. Ten is easy. You can come up with that without even trying.
- Creativity comes easier on nature walks, during long drives and when in the shower.
- Your relationships determine the quality of your life.
- Your vices won’t ease the pain. They just defer it and amplify it.
- Be the change you want to see in the world.
See? I told you coming up with ten ways to improve is easy. The only hard part of coming up with that list was stopping.
