George Takei – among others – recently took to X to complain about Trump’s plan for Ukraine.
He (or at least his puppet masters) would very much like to support the continued war effort. More guns, more money, more soldiers fighting on the front line.
A noble endeavour, generally, to help the defenceless defend themselves.
And yet, Trump has a plan to end the war and bring peace to the region. Not by any side surrendering, just by reaching mutually beneficial terms.
That doesn’t sit right with Democrats, who have lately embraced extremism in many forms. Once again, it’s liberals cutting off family members who dare to vote differently, not the other way round.
As far as the Dems go, the war won’t end until Russia surrenders unconditionally.
And if yet more Ukrainians have to perish in the war, well… better that than a peace plan from Trump, right?
It’s a sickening way of thinking, made even worse by the calendar.
On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the guns fell silent and the Great War ended. Today is a day of peace and for reflecting on the horrors of war.
Unless you’re a Dem – then peace is just bad business.
How sad for them.
There’s not a lot you can do about that – except to focus on what matters, of course.
Lead by example and you’ll save yourself, maybe even dragging them along with you.
It’s the best chance we have of getting through the next existential trials together.
Here’s how:
