You’re not a Good person.
You lie, cheat and steal, probably every day. There are times on the regular where you do something that hurts others yet doesn’t even benefit you.
It’s a sad, sorry state of affairs.
But you know this and you’re working on it. You feel bad about doing bad. You try to do Good and you, generally, improve.
So it might be hard for you to imagine how so many folks gleefully lie and cheat without a shred of remorse. If you were half as deliberately wicked as them, you’d wake with a cold sweat every other night.
Well, here are a few answers to that query.
One is that they believe what they’re doing is righteous or at least justified.
Fine.
But unless they’re literal psychopaths, they still feel guilty about that. Talk to cops or soldiers who’ve killed people in action. Even when killing a horrendously evil person to save innocent lives, it often tears at them inside.
They can talk it out with other warriors.
But if you’re a liar and a cheat, you can’t admit it even to yourself.
You have to release the tension some other way.
Take the Democrats. The 2020 election saw a magic extra 15 million votes appear, often in the middle of the night, exclusively for Biden.
Now in 2024, we’re seeing votes trickle in for about a month after the election – again, overwhelmingly for Harris. The prediction markets called the results on election day with eerie accuracy, but now those predictions are breaking down.
And it’s weird how this is happening in states that don’t require voter ID, so there’s nothing to prevent fraud from happening.
The Democrats are cheaters. That’s obvious to everyone with eyes.
And how do they protect themselves from being found out?
“The voting machines aren’t connected to the internet… but Starlink somehow changed the results! Trump CHEATED!”
Behold: the concept “every accusation is a confession”.
Wokies call you racist, fascist, ignorant, cultish and obsessed with the genitals of children.
It’s a confession after confession after confession.
They’re evil but they’re not psychopathic. What they do eats them alive. They have to confess – and this is one of the ways they do so without being overt about it.
This isn’t me pointing a finger, by the way. Karl Marx himself said to create confusion by accusing the enemy of what you’re doing.
The great news is that evil won’t win. It can’t. It’s too weak and divided to manage that.
The bad news is it can cause tremendous suffering before imploding.
And evil never dies – not until Jesus returns to destroy Satan at last.
Until then, though, we have to take the problem of evil seriously.
We have to resist it at every stage.
Never tolerate it or compromise with it. Fight it with strength and ruthlessness, but also charm, compassion and wisdom.
Make it clear to normies and innocents what side you’re on.
