If you become Batman, great! Congratulations! You’ve fulfilled the childhood dream of many.
But what do you then do?
As Batman, your goal is to defeat crime. Not criminals, but crime itself. And that might involve patrolling the streets, breaking up gangs, throwing crooks in gaol and terrorising criminals. But if that’s all you do, you’ll never win.
Addressing symptoms is important, but you’ll never change the world without getting to the root cause.
As tragic as it was, the reaction to Charlie Kirk’s assassination gives me hope. So many people are returning to the church, having families and getting involved in politics. This is how we win – not by cancelling heartless morons who celebrated what happened (though we must do that too) but by fighting Evil at its core.
