I used to be pushy – always thinking I knew what was best for folks. That was my own anxiety talking, back before I overcame it.
Now?
I’m a big believer in letting people live according to their natures.
Let people do what they want – that’s what I now say.
My natural impulse is to try to elevate people. That means I used to do a lot of preaching, moralising and spitting fire. You could say that’s in my nature.
But is it in theirs to be elevated?
Do they want things to get better?
If not, I had no business talking.
“But William,” folks say, “isn’t that a selfish and destructive philosophy? Shouldn’t you be holding them to a higher standard? Letting people do what they want – wouldn’t most people spend all day eating potato chips and playing video games?”
Do they want to eat potato chips and play video games?
“Yes, obviously, that’s why they do it!”
That might be true for some people. Maybe that’s their best path to a fulfilling life.
Most folks who do that, though, do it to cope – to distract themselves from pain.
Couch potatoes are rarely fulfilled.
They don’t want to sit around all day. They do it because it’s the least painful option they know.
If you love to grow, help people and be of service to the world – if that’s deeply satisfying to your mind, body and spirit – then that’s in your nature.
I don’t need to convince you to read this. If it’s in your nature to consume, apply and reflect on stuff like this, then you’ll want to buy it. If not, then I’m not interested in trying to change your mind.
You’ll know if The Virtus Path aligns with your nature when you learn what it contains. If this doesn’t spark anything inside you, even something small, then this isn’t for you. You’ll learn:
- the surprising and easy emotion that overwrites anxiety,
- how a simple touch of your finger can leave you focused, confident and grateful,
- how to turn your anxiety into a superpower,
- a complex, multistep psychological process where every step – including the first – can transform your life,
- how to be open and trusting without being gullible and vulnerable,
- ways to use your weirdness to be less awkward,
- about the time I slipped on black ice and bruised my tailbone. Does that have anything to do with overcoming anxiety? It might…
- how to access a state of motivation – where working hard is fun – any time you need it.
It’s probably not in your nature to let your doubts, distractions and delusions hold you back.
Maybe that’s a choice you’re making – the comfort of the familiar.
There’s no judgement either way. Some folks would be perfectly content to sit by a river, a cup of tea in one hand and a book of poems in the other.
It’s in my nature to learn about the mind, write and help anyone who needs it. If that’s not you, that’s okay. All I know is what I want to do.
And let me tell you – without the powerful techniques inside The Virtus Path, I probably wouldn’t have had the means to create it. It helped bring itself into existence, like the oldest gods in our oldest stories.
In other words, the contents of this product have helped me from the moment I created them, drawing on my experiences in psychology, hypnosis, NLP and neuroscience.
If you would struggle to create a product like this, then that means you’d benefit from it.
