God created the universe with a Word.
You can’t create universes. You’re not God.
But you are made in His image, so words have power for you.
They serve you.
Or they can work against you.
As a Christian, you know to think Good thoughts and do Good deeds. But do you know how the language you use influences those?
But before I go further, a few things about what this isn’t:
- Affirmations – this isn’t about writing some flaky, feel-Good message as if the universe is a chatbot waiting to respond to your requests,
- Prosperity gospel – this is about deepening your faith, not getting rich,
- Witchcraft – this is all grounded in Biblical Christianity.
No, it’s nothing like any of that.
Instead, it builds off this simple verse from the Gospels:
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
(Mark 11:22-25)
A fool reading that thinks of how awesome it would be to throw mountains into the ocean.
The wise man wonders if that’s enough power to liberate him from his own fallen, sinful nature.
It might just be.
Let me show you can be a better human and a better Christian – and how this can reshape almost every aspect of your life.
