Truly charismatic folks don’t use “formulas”, “techniques” or “processes”. They treat the person on front of them as important and interesting.
But there is a 5-step process for learning how to do the same.
See, unlike the charisma superstars, many folks rely on an approach or two they like to use. This one is for sales. This one, dating.
Or they don’t even think about it, just saying what comes to mind and treating everyone the same.
Does that work?
It can – but doing that’s a number’s game. But it’ll fizzle and splutter a lot. The only way to succeed like that is by talking to a lot of people and hoping it all works out.
Better is to learn eight Flavours of Charisma – each of which is a suite of approaches (a way of being, really). When you know which one to use – and this guide teaches you how to know that too – then you can engage with them how they want to be.
Some people want to be charmed. Others just want to be heard. Others still look for common bonds between you and them.
That’s why truly charismatic folks don’t use techniques. They consider the person in front of them and then treat them differently from everyone else.
The best way to learn how to do this is to be born naturally charismatic.
For the rest of us, though, the best way is to spend eight weeks practicing the five steps.
The first step builds on the flavours of charisma you already excel at – showing you how to use your habits to charm and mesmerise.
From there, the next four steps get real fun.
It’s all in Flavours of Charisma – my guide to the multifaceted nature of human-to-human relating. Charisma isn’t always just the suave guy in a suit delivering smooth-as-oil pickup lines at a bar.
If you think about the popular, respected and influential people you know, you’ll see they’re popular in different ways.
Flavours of Charisma shows you how you’re already potentially popular, how to build on that and how to round out the flaws in your style.
The best style of charisma changes to fit the person in front of you. What could be more influential than someone who sees who you are and responds appropriately?
