My latest book – The Virtus Path – is exactly what you might need.
It’s a quick, simple guide to overcoming anxiety.
Actually, it goes well beyond that. Leaving your anxiety in the dirt behind you is a side effect of following the Path. You’ll be too busy feeling focused, motivated and alert to worry about any anxiety.
But there’s a problem.
This guide is ugly. In fact, it’s downright hideous. The endless beige simplicity of its formatting might offend you if you have a taste for design.
There are no pictures or diagrams.
No table of contents.
Hell, it doesn’t even have page numbers. I get by with plain text and bold text – and nothing more.
Why? Is it because I’m a talentless hack when it comes to anything beautiful?
Well, that may be true but that’s not why. The real deal is that I don’t want you to overthink this. This is a short, quick, snappy guide. You might be able to read it in one sitting. If not, you’ll want to take it slow and practice all the techniques.
They’re simple exercises, but they draw on a lot of interesting neuroscience principles. Doing them is weird, sure, but it quickly locks in a state of calm, focused confidence into your system.
Then you can call on it with a simple stroke of the wrist.
If that sounds too good to be believed, here’s the catch: you need to put the work in first. It’ll take a lot of repetition to get this to work. It’s not difficult, but it can get boring.
You’ll have to decide if that’s too steep a price to pay for overcoming anxiety.
I can’t make you walk the Path. All I can do is guide you along the way.
If you’re willing to put in a few hours of effort to overcome anxiety and finally get things done, then you can begin the Path here:
